It looks like someone’s stopped sipping on the Kool-aid.
TMZ.com is reporting that Nas has finally woken up and is now asking a judge to block his estranged wife’s 55k a month child – Kelis just recently filed a request for more $$- and spousal support.
In court papers filed by his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, Nas is also asking for joint custody of their two-month-old boy.
Shouts to Nash for finally manning up and checking the chicken heads of the world. Marriage is treated TOO much like a means to an end rather then love and devotion.
Let’s hope the judge answers his request and Kelis ends up on food stamps. OK, fine that last part was a bit dramatic.
Either way, this entire display doesn’t bode well for her singing career.

Any female who uses their child (ren) and divorce as a means of financial stability should be pushed off the Golden Gate bridge face first. Why not be sensible? I want our child to time with you on a regular, consistent basis (ie being an active parent), a college fund set up, and his tuition/childcare and healthcare costs split between parents EQUALLY. Where do these women get off with this bullcrap? Seriously though, the courts should be looking at the mental stability of a person whose only concern is the amount of money they will be receiving because things didn’t work out. Where is the concern for the child? And this whole I’ve grown accustomed to a certain lifestyle is some bullcrap too. You may as well get re-accustomed to being broke again or at least providing for yourself and your child. Since when did marriage become an excuse as to why your lazy ass isn’t employed? We are all given gifts when we are born and staying at home isn’t one of them. This bish sings so go sing something. It is called work and despite what Hollywood may have you thinking everyone has to do it. I hope Nas gets full-custody at this point because her actions make me question her ability to parent this child.
