ABOUT “THE RICKEY SMILEY SHOW” COMEDY SERIES:
“The Rickey Smiley Show” is new and great multi-camera sitcom that keeps audiences laughing with the challenges, joys and insanity longtime comedian and nationally syndicated radio personality Rickey Smiley faces as a single father raising three children (ages 8-18), as well his struggles with his ex-wife, extended family, and his attempts to try and have a ‘personal life.’ Just as unpredictable and entertaining – Smiley’s life at the radio station which is a hot-bed of office politics, back-stabbing, sexual innuendo, social issues, celebrity appearances, music and of course, lots of humor. The series also features several celebrity guest stars and special appearances from many of Smiley’s original characters he has made famous over the years, including Mrs. Bernice Jenkins, Lil’ Daryl, Minister Joe Willie and Beauford.

While I’m not a big fan of sitcoms, I actually chuckled out loud. I don’t want to spoil the premier tonight on TV One, so I’ll hold off on the specifics, but I feel confident that it’ll have a good run.
Be sure to check back for interviews from the cast tomorrow. And be sure to tune into TV One tonight as the “The Rickey Smiley Show,” will make its debut at 9PM est.
