I can tell you this story I never thought I would ever be reporting. It seems new developments have emerged that’s painting Beyonce’s father has a money grubbing thief.
As previously reported by Gyantunplugged.com, Beyonce and her longtime manager — who also happens to be her father — parted ways. The initial report was simply that Beyonce wanted to take more control of her career and business and it was time for Matthew to return to just being her father.
However, now it seems that was only half the truth. According to a published report, Beyonce was alerted by her hubbie’s entertainment and management company Live Nation Entertainment that Knowles, Sr.was swiping money from Beyonce’s account. Knowles denied such claims, so Beyonce decided to have her attorney conduct an audit.
And that’s where the story takes a sad and unfortunate turn:
According to the docs, Mathew claims Live Nation told Beyonce that Mathew “had stolen money from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise taken funds that [he] was not entitled to.”
Mathew claims Live Nation was effective, because Beyonce had her law firm conduct an audit, and the law firm concluded Mathew had indeed pilfered money from her. Beyonce then fired him.
Mathew claims after he was canned, Beyonce hired a manager who had worked as a former exec at Live Nation and maintained a relationship with the company.
Mathew insists the theft accusations by Live Nation are false, and he wants the judge to give him the right to take depositions of various people at Live Nation, to determine just how they concluded he was a thief.
This is conflicting information. On one hand you can’t argue with facts. So if an attorney determined that a theft occurred then it’s an open and shut case. However, I can’t help but find the situation surrounding this unfortunate incident without feeling a bit of deja vu.
We all remember the rumors surrounding how Def Jam records allegedly ripped Jay-Z’s former partner in crime Dame Dash from the situation to gain more ownership of the Jigga man [of course there's more to the story, but that's the gist-ish]. So I can’t help but wonder how Live Nation became privy to another companies financial records — remember Beyonce at that time wasn’t apart of Live Nation.
And don’t even get me started on the notion that if this information discovers to be true, than it pretty much cements all the rumors, allegations and stories we’ve all heard on how ruthless Matt can be. And don’t get me started on the bastard child nobody talks about.
This is quite a revealing day. I tell you one thing; I never thought of Beyonce as much of an actor, but judging by this performance she deserves an Academy Award. She’s kept it together quite well considering the ultimate betrayal.
