Earlier this week I put you all onto the shocking story regarding the death of seven year-old Aiyanna Jones. Well the story has just taken a interesting twist, and I’ll be damned if reality TV is behind it.

Some extremely sad news has hit the news this AM that alleges a mother has committed a truly heinous act.
Antoinette Nicole Davis, the mother of Shaniya (Shuh-nigh-uh) Davis, faces a child abuse charge involving prostitution as well as filing a false police report, according to a Saturday news release from the Fayetteville Police Department.
Davis is said to have provide her child to 29-year old Mario Andrette McNeil for sexual favors in exchange for drugs and/or cash. The child hasn’t been seen since Tuesday, when surveillance footage recorded the man charged with kidnapping Shaniya carrying her into a hotel room.
According to arrest documents cited by the newspaper, Davis “knowingly provide(d) Shaniya Davis with the intent that she be held in sexual servitude” and she “permit(ted) an act of prostitution.”
Isn’t it amazing how you have to have a license to drive, and identification to get on an airplane, but anybody can have a child.

So sad.

I’ve got a bit of sad news to report. After a quiet announcement that songstress Celine Dion and her husband/manager Rene Angelil were expecting their second child, a new report has the couple having to retract the happy news.
Apparently the in vitro fertilization Celine had undergone was not successful.
“We’re living the reality of the majority of couples who face these procreation techniques,” he said. The couple’s son, 8-year old Rene-Charles was conceived through in vitro after six years of trying.
The singer had her embryos frozen in liquid nitrogen and was hoping to conceive again that way.
So sad momma Celine.

A gang of black high school students beat down a white student on a school bus yesterday. Initially the attack was ruled as being racially motivated, a statement the Belleville Texas police spokesman is now shying away from.
It was premature on my part,” said Belleville Police Capt. Don Sax. “It was my personal and emotional comment after only seeing the video briefly.”
The victim was trying to find a seat and was told by two students he could not sit next to them, police said. As he walked to the seat, someone shouted, “Beat his ass.”
Two teens were taken into custody; authorities will apply for charges today. Both students have been suspended, said Superintendent Greg Moats.
Belleville has had a long history of racial turmoil, with a past that includes police harassment of black motorists, cross burnings and discrimination in city hiring.
I already know some of you view this unfortunate and disgusting display of male testosterone as karmic retribution for 400 years of captivity ["Higher Learning" anyone?] . But personally, I find it troubling and incredibly disturbing.

My #1 rule as a blogger is to NEVER talk about anyone’s death if I NEVER covered their life.
It’s just a sad day.
Condolences to his family.

Amid the controversial health care reform and reality star Heidi Montag’s shiteous Miss Universe performance, it’s clear that Dr. Conrad Murray is clearly having the worst week ever.
It’s being reported that the LA corner’s office has ruled Michael Jackson’s death a homicide, fingering Dr. Murray as the culprit.
Per MSNBC:
Criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with the pop star when he died on June 25.
A designation of homicide means that Jackson died at the hands of another, but does not necessarily mean a crime was committed.
Forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol acted together with at least two sedatives to cause Jackson’s death June 25 in his rented Los Angeles mansion, according to the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released.
Color me crazy, but I don’t think anyone wants to be known as the killer of musics greatest contributor.

It looks like all the “journalists” of the world might want to start investing in bullet proof vests.
In a shocking turn of events, a journalist and President of Don Diva magazine Sam Ferguson was murdered in Florida last week in Florida. Details from the shocking incident are sketchy, but it’s being whispered that a certain overweight rapper from South Florida is involved.
In a interview before this weekends chain events, Ross was very vocal about his disdain for Ferguson. Ross became infuriated with Ferguson after seeing an interview with Hip-Hop Weekly as well as a Q & A that was issued in the magazine that was entitled, “Would The Real Rick Ross Stand Up.” Ross was cited as saying that he was offended by what was written and issued a challenge for him to meet him in the streets as it would become deeper than rap.
Authorities are currently on the search for suspects connected with the crime as their only clue has lead them on the hunt for a black car with clear tail-light lenses.
That’s a pretty small lead isn’t it?
So sad.

Tragedy struck Atlanta over the weekend. Boxer Vernon Forrest was killed Saturday night over a robbery that turned into a brutal weapons exchange.
The incident began at 11 p.m. at the Chevron on Whitehall Street in Southwest Atlanta when Forrest, 38, stopped to put air in the tires of his Jaguar, said Atlanta Police Detective Lt. Keith Meadows.
A male suspect approached Forrest and robbed him of a few items at gunpoint, he said. Forrest, who was also armed, then chased the suspect to an area near McDaniel and Fulton Streets.
Forrest was shot seven to eight times in the back, Meadows said. Meadows said there is evidence Forrest used his weapon but did not know if the suspect was shot.
An 11-year-old boy, described as a godson by Forrest’s manager Charles Watson, was in the Chevron at the time of the robbery. The boy is the son of Forrest’s girlfriend, Meadows said, and was able to provide police with a description of the suspect.
It’s getting rough out here peoples. I think its time for EVERYONE to tone all the flashiness down. When people have nothing they’ve got NOTHING to lose by robbing you.
Gyantunplugged.com sends out peace and blessing vibes to Forrest and his family.
