Gyant Review: Rihanna – “Russian Roulette”

Rihanna’s new cinematic firestorm dropped today. And I have to admit that it’s nothing less then sheer brilliance. The dark narrative reminds me of what MTV used to be before it became one big commercial portal.

Though Rihanna has been collecting accolades for years, and has even walked away with a Grammy, I’ve never seen the true star until now. The current Queen of Pop music, Beyonce, could take acting chops from the legendary Sidney Portier and never reach the level of depth that Jay-Z’s star artist just did in this beautiful and poetic masterpiece.

While I’ve been striving to give both Chris Brown and Rihanna equal media coverage over the year, Riri’s new video kicked his proverbial ass, and subsequently I must give my full support to the pop princess.

Takes A Leak: Rihanna’s New Album Leaked Online!

Well that didn’t take long at all. Rihanna’s new album “Rated R” has just taken a leak in a big way. And though I’m still taking it in, I can’t hate one bit. It’s definitely a solid project.

Clearly Rihanna’s current “abuse” hasn’t affected her appetite, as her tour Rider has just been exposed.

The list is made up almost entirely of food demands, including 24 hot wings, cheese puff snacks, a box of Frosted Flakes, a whole jerk chicken and, of course, turkey bacon at any time of the day.

What can I say, its a slow news day.

Current poster child for abuse, Rihanna was honored at last nights Glamour magazine soiree. She was honored with Glamour’s, “The Back-On-Top Superstar” award at Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year Awards at NYC’s Carnegie Hall.

Chris Brown Responds To Rihanna…

Chris Brown has changed his position somewhat on his previous claims to remain mum on the unfortunate beat-down heard around the world.

In a statement to MTV here’s what he has to say about Rihanna’s decision to air out the situation to Diane Sawyer:

While I respect Rihanna’s right to discuss the specific events of February 8, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us. I do appreciate her support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions.

At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong.The rest I leave it to God.

Video Scoop: Rihanna’s 20/20 Interview Parts 2 & 3!

Rihanna finally opened up in a major way about her treacherous relationship with Pop Star Chris Brown to ABC’s Diane Sawyer. Despite contrary reports, Riri was quite revealing about the details that surrounded their relationship.

Though I can tell the Grammy winner was very open about her feelings towards the situation, I still feel a certain kind of way on her position regarding “domestic abuse”. First off this is not domestic abuse – the two were not married nor shared a home- it was a simple matter of assault.

However, I understand society’s feelings on the vast deference between men and women. Personally, i feel the lesson should for relationships to remain non physical on both sides.

And lord lets all pray that iphone develops an application that hides text messages.

TV Scoop: Rihanna To Diane Sawyer, “This Happen To Me, I Didn’t Cause This, I Didn’t Do It!”

In case you missed it earlier, snippets of Rihanna’s “tell-all” sitdown with ABC Anchorperson Diane Sawyer on the scandal that’s had all of us buzzing for almost a year.

The interview doesn’t bode well for Chris, who pretty much was painted the villain. Check out the oh so cringing sitdown above.

Personally I just hate how our society never allows the female to share in the blame. I personally believe it takes two to tango. And I wish that she’d share some of the blame.

Us behind the scene’s people have already heard about her Riri’s heavy hand. I’m just sayin’.
