Well it looks like DJ Vlad now has over three hundred thousands reason to stick it to rapper Ricky Ross now that a jury has sided with the journalist/music executive.
According to a new report, Vlad, who was brutally attacked by Ross and his entourage amidst rumors that Ross was nothing more then a liar, who worked for as a prison guard before he got into the rap game. But it seems Ross isn’t sweating the 300k loss one bit.
Per MTV:
“I’ve been fighting a $4 million lawsuit for the last two years,” Ross said. “My defense was a success. I’ve got to salute Xavier Donaldson, my attorney. Whenever an artist or anybody is put in a position such as a lawsuit in this capacity, so much evidence is represented — videotapes, what have you — to be able to walk out of a courtroom giving the plaintiff less than 10 percent of what he requested, I consider my defense a success. God bless America! The lawsuit is done. Even though I plan to appeal the decision, I thank the courts for the monetary decision that they made. They were extremely lenient, I appreciate that. It’s back to the business for the boss.”
Don’t you just love how rappers are so ignornt in their existence that they even make a loss sound like a win? Let’s break this down people; If you are taken to court and you lose. You LOST. That mean’s you can’t have a success if you lost. Got it? Good!
Seeing as though Vlad wanted 4 million, and only got 300k some are going to try to discount Vlad’s win. But at the end of the day, the judgment is still a victory for the media altogether. The hoodlums of the world will think twice before raising their hands to a blogger or journalist for doing ones job.
