If you’ve been losing sleep pondering Mario’s bachelor status, BET just got the exclusive on his love life.
According to Dior over at the, “lowering my head in shame” network, the struggling J Records artist has linked up with newcomer Audra Simmons of Richgirl.
Now y’all already know I love me some Audra. But I’m still a little bitter towards the R&B crooner every since he slapped my camera out of my hand at Uptown in Atlanta two years ago as I tried to get a picture for the SOHH.com blogs. [Yea, I have a memory like an elephant.]
Add that to the fact that homie’s got a personality that’s about as interesting as a white wall, and you can understand my anticlimactic response.
Anyway here’s the scoop on the two’s union:
The two have been seen out and about for awhile now, but they’ve denied that they’re together while playing it coy with the “we’re just friends” line. However, a rep confirmed to BET.com that the two are an item.
Our source said they met during Mario’s promo tour, where RichGirl opened for the Grammy-nominated R&B star.
Audra was the lead girl for the ‘Break Up’ video and they started dating shortly before they filmed the video ‘Thinkin’ About You,’ which was about five weeks ago. The two are dating seriously and, according to our source, “It’s hot and heavy now.”
Well now Mario is caught between a rock and hard place because if this “relationship” brings my girl Audra any unforeseen emotional distress he’s gonna get VILIFIED by the blogs. I’m going to see to it.
