Well that was fast!
It’s been announced that current outcast Michael Vick has signed on to a two year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
“I’ve seen people close to me have had second chances that have taken advantage of those,” Eagles Coach Andy Reid said. “It’s very important that people give them opportunities to prove that they can change. So we’re doing that with Michael.”
Vick was just recently granted conditional reinstatement by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
Under the reinstatement plan, Vick can participate in preseason practices, workouts, meetings, and play in Philadelphia’s final two exhibition games. He could receive full reinstatement at any point, but Goodell said he would grant that by Week 6 at the latest, provided Vick lives up to his end of the agreement.
They say people deserve second chances, but do you think Vick’s comeback was a tad too soon?

Sunday, May 17th, 2009So it’s being reported that Tip will likely only do two months in an Arkansas state prison. It seems he’s being credited for 305 days of home detention, so if you do the math you know he’ll be in and out in no time at all.
Money makes the world go round people!
Us regular folk would have NEVER seen the light of day again. I’ve seen people get more time for speeding! I mean hell Michael Vick got more time for fighting dogs.
He’s been telling us for years, but it looks like T.I. is really a King!
Sorry Mike, better luck next time.
But if Tip is only doing two months then what the hell were we saying farewell for? Two months ain’t nothing!
