Justin Bieber fans seemed to be very pissed these days. First prepubescent girls went into criminal territory by threatening porn star –turned reality star Kim Kardashian after spotting the two hanging together both at the White House and Hawaii. And now it seems Bieber stans are livid that Nicki Minaj won over the pop phenomenon Justin Bieber as “Best New Artist” at this years BET Awards.

So how is it Nicki Minaj came out the winner? After making some calls sources close to the process, I am told that though Justin’s online audience far exceeded Nicki’s for the “Best New Artist” category, it wasn’t the only voting method used to determine the controversial win. It’s few different voting methods used.

Interesting argument to be made, however will the fans survive it?

Personally I felt that BET [Black Entertainment Television] nominating the pop star was a tad bit inappropriate. In my eyes Justin doesn’t make urban music. He’s a Pop star plain & simple. And no matter how many rap features you add to his album it doesn’t change the obvious.

But, if the powers that be over at Viacom owned network decides that he is worthy to garner a nomination, who the hell am I to disagree. But it’s still interesting all the same.
