I’ve come to learn to concede to certain artists in the game. While on paper Keri’s new album isn’t the success her team spins to the media, I’ve learn to close my eyes and just soak up…err..hhmm what am I soaking up exactly?
Anyway, @Misskeribaby clearly can’t hold her liquor as she was photo’d looking HAMMERED over the holiday weekend down in mia, with a middle finger to boot.

Why do we care that washed up rapper Foxy Brown has a sex tape is beyond me. But that’s the word on the street. However don’t cry for Foxy Boogie Argentina, cause I hear Inga knew she was being recorded – well, for the most part.
Sources tell me that the owners of the alleged tape is trying to negotiate a nice price for said tape ala Kim K and Ray-J.
No offense to the people involved, but this is some ghetto hood mess. I hear they didn’t even use an actual camera – just a regular cell phone. So you can imagine what the quality is going to be.

BMI saluted the world’s premier R&B, rap and hip-hop songwriters, producers and publishers tonight at its annual Urban Awards. BMI President & CEO Del Bryant and Catherine Brewton, Vice President, Writer/Publisher Relations, Atlanta, hosted the ceremony at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, Broadway at 60th Street, New York City.
Hip-hop titans T-Pain and Lil Wayne shared the prestigious Songwriter of the Year prize, as trendsetters Polow Da Don and Kanye West both earned Producer of the Year titles. Song of the Year honors went to Jordin Sparks’ “No Air,” written by Erik Griggs, while Universal Music Publishing Group garnered yet another Publisher of the Year crown.
The capstone of the night’s festivities was the presentation of the BMI Icon Award to George Clinton, whose achievements were celebrated with an all-star musical tribute, featuring performances by Cee-Lo Green, who delivered “One Nation Under a Groove”; Parliament/Funkadelic’s Bootsy Collins, who performed “Atomic Dog”; Janelle Monáe who performed “Flashlight”; and Dallas Austin, Big Gipp and Outkast’s Big Boi, whose medley of “(Not Just) Knee Deep,” “Tear the Roof Off the Sucker (Give Up the Funk)” and “Up for the Down Store” was the jaw-dropping conclusion.

And the blogs have taken over yet again. Weeks after having their private relationship thrust into the spotlight, Kandi Burruss and her beau AJ.
The two have decided to call off their engagement and put their relationship on hiatus.
She tells Essence:
ESSENCE.COM: Speaking of which, inquiring minds want to know what exactly does AJ do for a living?
BURRUSS: AJ over time has done a lot of things, including running this collection agency while we were together and he just recently bought into this strip club.
ESSENCE.COM: Hold up. Did you just say you and AJ are no longer together?
BURRUSS: (Laughs.) We’re on hiatus. He’s a great guy and he’s not the type to sit on his behind like a scrub, so it has nothing to do with that. Yes, he has a lot of children, and yes, I didn’t know about them all at first but I got over it because as long as you handle your responsibility and spend time with your children it’s not an issue for me. Another thing I want to set the record straight on is that AJ was married before. A lot of people make comments like, if he didn’t marry his other children’s mothers then why do you think he’s going to marry you.
I love me some Kandi. But I hate her affiliation to that damn Real Housewives show.
Jay-Z and David Letterman chopped it up on the late night couch last night. Jay-Z’s body language was crazy as Letterman pondered Jay’s govt’s, his wife Beyonce and of course his new CD.
Hov chimed in right on cue with the forced laugh and meaningless conversation. You almost get the sense that the crowd is laughing at Jay rather than with him.
Shouts to Keri Hilson. Clearly she’s secured a stylist for a more mature look. The Decatur baby was spotted at the Mercedez Benz Fashion Week last night taking in the BCBG Max Azria fashion show at Bryant Park.

Current free agent Stephen Marbury is about to get it again on the blogs as a new internet video has emerged. Marbury, who apparently has tons of times on his hands has taken to the internet like a fish to water.
Numerous Ustream video has shown Marbury dancing to techno pop music, smoking good green and even breaking down in tears.
Small minded pinheads have deemed Marbury gay. And fellow NBA player Brendan Haywood’s issued an apology to Marbury on this blog last month after insinuating alleged homosexual activity.
Clearly a glutton for punishment, Marbury has cut a new youtube video denying such acts. But it doesn’t quite help his situation. Check it!
