Janet Jackson is once again back in the news. While promoting her utterly dark looking movie “For Colored Girls,” she’s answering rumors that she’s engaged to her new billionaire boyfriend.
Anyone with common sense should know to not ask Janet anything about her love life because you’ll never get the truth. However, I’m still intrigued by her candid response:
“No, no, no, “I’m not engaged.”
So there you have it. Brace for the next rumor coming soon.
Oprah Winfrey is set to return to the big screen in a new comedy? That’s right people it’s going down. According to published reports, Oprah will star in a new comedy written and directed by “Sex and the City” (SATC)director, Michael Patrick King.
The daytime host talk show will share the screen with Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock, according to Deadline.
Chicagoan’s may now have a theme song for history books now that Lupe Fiasco, Common Jennifer Hudson and No ID have joined forces on a new track.
What do you think about it?
Nicki Minaj is angry that a promoter cut her show 20 seconds before it was set to be over. Here’s what Nicki said via Ustream:
Randy Buzzelli cut me off w/20 seconds left to my show @ Boston’s Monsta Jam. Sorry I couldn’t say “Goodnite & God Bless you Boston”
Jay-Z’s talking about the Beyonce rumors allegedly:
The rapper has been joined by his wife on stage several times this year. But Knowles, who is working on her next album, isn’t planning a break in the sun. “It’s not going to happen,” Jay-Z said. “I’m just shooting down the rumours before they start.”
And he also confirmed the pair aren’t about to start a family, saying there was “no truth” to last week’s rumor of a pregnancy. “They do that every slow news day. This is like the fifth time. I think we have five kids now,” he said. No truth, but I wonder when people will stop giving it relevance? You can’t do the same subject. At least change the subject, they have to find a new one.”
Just a day after the entire world already started picking out baby names for Beyonce and Jay-Z’s new rumored baby, it seems Momma Knowles is stepping in and crushing the fans spirits.
Apparently Bey is yet another victim of the internet rumors.
Per This Is R&B:
“I heard that, but I’m here to clear the rumors up. The truth is that it’s not Beyoncé that’s pregnant, it’s me,” joked Tina. “I’m kidding ya’ll. I’m 56.”
However, she remained good-natured about the gossip. “No, it’s not true. Not right now. I’m looking forward to it. With all the rumors, by now I should have five or six grandchildren.”
Jay-Z broke bread with Billionaire Warren Buffett and Steve Forbes in Omaha recently. The power meeting was kept on the low, but it did go down.
I hear Warren Buffett and Jay shared business tips, and was even challenged on Jay-Z songs. Shawn Carter and Warren cover the new Forbes magazine top 400 richest Americans.
In the interview Jay-Z, who headed Def Jam Recordings and is one of the most financially successful hip-hop artists, said he found there was nothing wrong with making art and money.
“Just so long as you separate the two and you’re not making music with business in mind,” he said. “When you’re in the studio you’re an artist, you make music, and then after you finish, you market it to the world.”
Buffett concurred: “Jay said it perfectly when he talked about how he’s in there recording for himself, and the money comes afterward.”
“I got to do what I love, and it doesn’t get any luckier than that,” Buffett said.
