There are few and far between that I get to talk about an artist who’s under the radar, but making incredible strides with their music. Though the days of SOHH.com are gone, and I keep my musical opinions to myself these days. Sometimes I rise up from the entertainment reporting to listen around for anybody who’s catching the peoples attention.
North Carolina rapper B-Stacks, has been generating some impressive buzz. In 2007, B signed to Faculty Entertainment at 17 years old. He was featured in 14 out of 17 tracks of their highly anticipated mix-tape “Death B4 Dishonor Vol.2″ which gave the record company and B-Stacks a whirl of wind of buzz throughout the South.
“I feel that I am one of a kind, I don’t see nobody my age doing what I am doing right now” B-Stacks tells HipHopEnquier.com “I feel like a lot of the new artists coming out are just like protégés of mainstream artists. I intend on standing out from the rest of them”
With a grind some compare to some his rap idols, B-Stack’s newest record promoting his new highly anticipated mixtape “Code Red: 114″ is definitely a budding dope record alert in my eyes.
With influences of multi-platinum artists such as, T.I, Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy, not mention skills of song writing and producing, B-Stacks has a killer combination to win the fight. B-Stacks embodies what many rappers lack; personality, ambition and humbleness.
Let’s see what develops.
