50 Cent chimes in on his feelings about Diddy comparing his new client Rick Ross to his The Notorious B.I.G. If you didn’t know Rick Ross is now being managed by Puffy.
But Fiddy held nothing back in offering up his opinion on Puffy’s music. “Puff’s music sucks!” Curtis says, and backs up his opinion with some pretty compelling arguments.
It looks like the media mogul we all know as Diddy is showing no signs of slow down. Especially now that he’s got a hit new movie. Combs’ new film, alongside Russell Brand, came in at an impressive #2 with 17 million plus in ticket sales.
“Get Him To The Greek” is the story of Aaron Greenberg. The ambitious 23-year-old has exaggerated his way into a dream job just in time for a career-making assignment. His mission: Fly to London and escort a rock god to L.A.s Greek Theatre for the first-stop on a $100-million tour.
His warning: Turn your back on him at your own peril. British rocker Aldous Snow (Brand) is both a brilliant musician and walking sex. Weary of yes men and piles of money, the former front man is searching for the meaning of life. But that doesnt mean he cant have a few orgies while he finds it. When he learns his true love is in California, Aldous makes it his quest to win her backright before kick-starting his world domination.
As the countdown to the concert begins, one intern must navigate a minefield of London drug smuggles, New York City brawls and Vegas lap dances to deliver his charge safe and, sort of, sound. He may have to coax, lie to, enable and party with Aldous, but Aaron will get him to the Greek.
We all know I am not the biggest Puff fan, so the fact that I was even able to type up something positive on the legendary mogul, is what I believe they call “progress”.
The cocky bastard we all know as Diddy is on a publicity tour as he’s currently being featured in Parade magazine, as well as the knew XXL mag. It’s hard to believe that though Sean has been on the forefront of hip-hop for years that he’s never graced the cover. Check out what Diddy has to say about himself on getting his proper respect:
“I am the champion of hip-hop” Diddy says in the story. “Hands down, undisputed, I’m the undisputed heavyweight champion of hip-hop. We are going to have to deal with those facts. There is nobody that can fuck with me with what I do, which is getting busy. We are going across the board, as an entrepreneur, innovator, motivator. Who was there first? Who traveled to Europe first? The first. The first. The first. The first. I was the first.”
Y’all know I can’t stand that damn Diddy however, the recent news surrounding his immensely popular clothing line Sean John — a personal favorite of GU.cm — has just garnered a fantastic new look in conjunction with Macy department stores.
No longer will you be able to spot Sean John in other retailers as the new deal with the devil we all call Diddy has an exclusive situation that will line the Macy aisles with Diddy product exclusively.
“It was a difficult decision,” Robertson told the AP in regards to pulling out of the other stores. But under the new direction, SJ will eventually be available in all of Macy’s 800 locations, and be featured more prominently in the chain’s advertisements and on the sales floor.
The new deal is rumored to be worth millions. Not too bad there Puffy. Now if only you can do right by Shyne, Mark Curry, Black Rob and others like the streets suggest. In the meantime; carry on.
