Atlanta’s thriving entertainment scene is being captured by a new show, ATL Profile. ATL Profile is focused on celebrity interviews and coverage of red carpet and community events in the city of Atlanta and surrounding areas. Georgia residents will have the opportunity to experience, firsthand, the latest happenings in the music, film, television and sports industries, by tuning into the weekly broadcast on Comcast On Demand Get Local. Since its inception in January 2011, ATL Profile, along with hosts Christopher Martin and Melanie Snare, has featured the likes of NBA & NFL superstars, Dwight Howard and Deion Sanders, recording artists Estelle, Musiq Soulchild, Akon, and Miguel, actors Nicole Ari Parker, Boris Kodjoe, Leon Robinson and Keshia Knight Pulliam, actor/director Robert Duval, Mayor Kasim Reed, and many more influential tastemakers. In addition to celebrity interviews, ATL Profile provides a “backstage pass” to an array of festivities, most recently, the V-103 Car & Bike Show, 1st Annual Brookhaven Beerfest, Thursday Thunder at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, BMI New Artist Showcase, 2011 Black Enterprise Conference, the Southwest Atlanta Celebrity Cook-Off and a host of diverse community and red carpet events.
ATL Profile’s new home on Comcast On Demand will serve to expand their previous audience of mostly online viewers to numerous househoulds in the Atlanta area.
