[Verse, Gyant, Akon, Ya' Boy]
Yesterday I had the pleasure of receiving exclusive access to one of Atlanta’s biggest (well not really, but we can pretend) music concerts of the Summer. The company and event will not be mentioned as they have yet to understand the power of social media and almost always exclude bloggers from access to their events, which ONLY benefits them –but that’s another conversation for another time. Anyway, Akon/Konvict granted requested that I attend his private sky-box at Phillips Arena to “meet & greet” with the brand new lineup at his record label. Gone is the old roster like Rock City, Ray Lavender and more. But a new fresh faced line-up is here and ready to attack the music game.
Patron shots, catered food and acts like Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy and more were the backdrop as Konvict Music artists Ya Boy, Billy Blue, Swift, Money Jay and Verse Simmons mingled with a select few from the social media world. Hittmen DJ’s Prez Caspa and DJ Quest were also in the building.
