Gyant Unplugged

OK so the Gyant blog over at BET.com isn’t exactly the avenue to talk real talk due to its evil ties to corporations, so I wasn’t able to get completely candid on these rumors surrounding Chris Brown. Thankfully we got GU.com, which is 100% owned and operated by me so we don’t have to play by any rules.

So the rumor on the street is that Chris Brown used fake tears during this past weekends BET Awards to assure sympathy votes from the black audience.

According to US Weekly here’s the scoop:

Before he took the stage to belt out “Man in the Mirror,” a backstage source tells Us one of Brown’s bodyguards gave the singer, 21, tear-inducing eye drops.

Brown’s rep denies it, telling Us that this account is “completely untrue.” But the witness says Brown definitely used drops.

Personally I don’t believe Chris tears were fake. Anyone who watched that performance would have observed that the boyish looking adult couldn’t even speak. This smells like one big PR stunt, and to be quite frank don’t we have enough of those.

I’m more interested in why Jay-Z, Beyonce and Rihanna were nowhere in sight as Brown emerged as a Pop Star.  Read up on that info my Gyant on BET blog on BET.com
