You guys know I’m still recovering from the heartbreak over RichGirl disbanding. And though I’m just beginning to peel myself off the proverbial floor, it seems vocal powerhouse Lyndriette is keeping it moving with a new found solo career.
In all fairness all the ladies seem to have not missed a beat since Jive closed it doors. And while I’ve been grieving like my dog died, Brave is working on new music, and seems to be close to releasing a new project, Se7ven is all up in Chris Brown camps writing music, among other things. And Audra..well i don’t know what the hell Audra is doing, but, she’s so beautiful I’m sure she’s fine doing what she loves.
In the effort of full disclosure Lyndriette personally sent me over her new sound back in December. (December 1st to be exact) But I hadn’t had a moment to sit down and take it all in until just last week. But now that I have I knew a blog post was needed. Stretching her vocal muscle in a major way, the southern belle is pushing the envelope with her new project. Edgy with a touch of musical insanity, she reminds me of what would happen if Nicki Minaj, Prince and Lady Gaga had a baby. From tracks like “Amnesia,” to others like “Proclamation” it’s clear that L is trying to ditch the Beyonce comparisons by doing a complete 180 vocally.
If you’ve been following the tone of Gyantunplugged.com, then you know there’s a severe lack of music postings these days. Unfortunately there’s just not a lot of good music out there. But L is definitely a rare exception. Take in some of the music, which I’ve given you a sneak listen to below, and lookout for more from the lady we know as Lyndriette in 2012.

2.Ladies Just Wanna Party (One of my personal favorites…The ladies is tired of these dudes disrespecting us! This joint features a multi-talented 3 girl group by the name of GYRLHOOD (@Gyrlhood4eva). Treat us like ladies…#thatisall)
3. Amnesia (This joint is what I call a stadium song, it features a bangin rapper from Charlotte NC;Big Steele…it’s about a girl being so in love she can’t see straight! But she loves it, and is willing to do whatever he wants her too…mmhmmm…lol)
4.Picture That (This one is featuring MY ALTER EGO…BOOMSHIKA!! She aint about to let no man play game on her!)
5.Addicted (This one is sexy…im just feenin for some lovin…im addicted, plain and simple)
6.Exit 50 (When a man do you wrong…aint but one thing to do…Drop his ass off on the side of the road!! Im singing with all my might for my ladies who’s been through that tough time when a man doesn’t give her what she deserves.)
7.One Last Time (This one is featuring my Homeboys from around the way…Metal Roze (@MetalRoze)…this is just a sample of what they are about to bring to the world! They are managed by Mark Pitts and Wayne Barrow of Bystorm Entertainment (Miguel,J Cole),this also features a very talented rapper from Charlotte that goes by the name Ray Starks. We get a little heated on this joint about getting together ONE LAST TIME.)
