1. Title: When I Get On

Rock City has done it again. The track “When I Get On” is off there latest mixtape PTFAO Independance Day (aka “Put The Fucking Album Out”). This track definitley stood out to me as a great upbeat and catchy tune that will be bumping in the clubs and streets. This Akon assisted track easily could be an offical single if it was not from a mixtape.
2. Title: Obsessed (Remix)
Artist: Mariah Carey (ft. Gucci Mane)
Genre: R&B
The queen of R&B is back and working hard on her new album “Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel”. Mariah definitley delivers on the first single “Obsessed”, however I have choosen the remix she did with Gucci Mane. Even though I love the original, I definitley favor the remix alot more. When I first heard the song I was just in shock because “I mean Mariah and Gucci” on a track is definitley not a combination of artists that come to mind when thinking about making a track. However they have proven the naysayers wrong and given them a hot track. This is definitley going to be a club banger and radio hit. Most recently she shot the video in NYC for the orignal verison, so be on the look out for that.
3. Title: All Night
Artist: T.I
Genre: Rap
Even when he is locked up, new music from T.I still manages to leak. This track leaked about a month ago however I still cant get it out of my head. I have been playing this song non stop recently and then it hit me, I knew there was something firmlar about it that I recognized. In the track T.I samples Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles” and it really works for this track. This is defintley leaving me wanting more new music from Mr. Grand Hustle.

Representation is the key to how one is portrayed. For anyone that knows me, one of the key things in my life is a love for all things music. I have an appreciation for all types of music (however I lean more towards Rap & Hip-Hop). Not only do I enjoy listening to music but I also enjoy sharing it with others. I pride myself on being up to date on all the hot music, and generally I have heard the latest hot song before the world latches onto it like a leech. I have seen about every rapper live in concert including Lil Wayne (8 times), Jay-Z, T.I, T-Pain, Drake, Flo Rida, Souljaboy, Gorilla Zoe, Busta Rhymes, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, and many more. Ultimately music is what drives me, and it really is almost like my “therapy”.
