It’s a sad day for Gyantunplugged.com. Yesterday ATL commuters were caught up the middle of a police chase, and foiled bank robbery attempt by one of my former assistants Mrs. Ancely Green.

Ancely worked as my Personal Assistant two years ago while I was filming “Gyantunplugged TV”. Her warm, maternal demeanor was refreshing. And being a good judgement of character you can imagine my horrific surprise to hear the news report of a robbery followed by Ancely’s name.

Yesterday I was stuck in the melee after returning from a Zaxbys’s run. Who could knew that the insane traffic jam was due to someone I knew, and who I still have great respect for.

I won’t pretend to know what happened. Nor will I make any judgement calls until all the facts are released. But what’s obvious is life can change for any of us in a blink of an eye. And to risk being in jail for years, it makes you seriously wonder how someone with such potential, and with three kids, would get herself involved in such a heart-wrenching situation. To this day Green gave me the most amazing gift that I still cherish.

Per Fox 5:

A mother of three accused of robbing a bank, and then leading police on a wild, high speed chase was denied bond by a Cobb County judge on Tuesday.

According to Dana Pierce with Cobb County police, 39-year-old Ancely Faye Green walked into the SunTrust Bank on Mars Hill Road around 11 a.m. and claimed she had an explosive device. They say she made off with $425.

A police chase then ensued just before noon from Mars Hill Road to Macland Road, then west on Windy Hill Road to Interstate 75.

GDOT officials say speeds in the chase reached 120 mph. Police say the chase ended when the Green’s vehicle overturned after it apparently hit a median near the Mount Paran Road exit at I-75. There were no injuries.

There’s a hacker site out there displaying big named celebs personal financial information. From Beyonce to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, sensitive info like addresses, phone numbers, credit reports and more have been put out world wide web for the masses.

The documents, contained on a page titled ‘The Secret Files,’ were made known to RT on Monday afternoon. The page contains simply a link to the figures allegedly hacked, an image of a girl holding her forefinger up to her mouth and a quote from the television program Dexter: “If you believe that God makes miracles, you have to wonder if Satan has a few up his sleeve.”

Among the specific details included in the data dump are the Social Security numbers and alleged home addresses and contact information for most of the figures profiled, as well as credit reports and other financial figures for a select bunch.

Gyantunplugged has learned that the website is Exposed.Su.

Zaxbys 2080 reached out to their community in a big way recently by hosting an incredible event for Make-A-Wish foundation. The Georgia charter volunteers are part of a nationwide network of nearly 25,000 caring people dedicated to making wishes come true. Although it has become one of the world’s most well-known and largest wish-granting charities, Make-A-Wish^® has maintained its mission to serve children with life-threatening medical conditions. Volunteers serve as wish granters, fundraisers, special event assistants and in numerous other capacities.

The theme of the night was all about the circus, great food, and a fun atmosphere. John Silvey, managing partner of this independently owned franchise, strives to build community relationships by hosting various events throughout the year. John tells Gyantunplugged exclusively:

We definitely felt honored to be asked for a third year to host such a great night for such special children. We are community focused and do whatever we can for our community. We are very happy that all the children had a great time and enjoyed some great food, before going to the circus! We look forward to continuing our partnership with Make-A-Wish and can’t wait for year four!

A 32-year-old Brooklyn man is suing his parents, claiming he wasn’t loved enough by them and that their neglect has caused him to be homeless and jobless. Bernard Bey filed a self-written lawsuit in Brooklyn court earlier this month, accusing his parents of causing him mental anguish and for making him feel “unloved and beaten by the world.”

“If you have kids, you’re expected to love your children,” Bey told NBC 4 New York. “You want the best for your children.”

Bey claimed he was physically and emotionally abused and ran away from home when he was 12, and then was in and out of the shelter system after turning 16.

He’s spent time in jail and is now homeless, and he believes his parents are at the root of his problems. Bey is asking the court for more than $200,000 in damages. He wants his parents to mortgage their family home and purchase two franchises like Domino’s Pizza.

“I feel like my parents should want the best for their children and grandchildren so we have something to pass down for generations so we don’t have to live like this,” he said.

Bey’s parents, who live in public housing, said they’re not in a position to give up any money. His stepfather named in the suit, Bernard Manley, had some choice unprintable words and maintained Bey is not his biological son.

Bey said he is willing to drop the lawsuit if his family will simply sit down at the dinner table with him. “Let’s work together, and definitely, I’ll drop the suit,” he said.

Y’all know I don’t pay attention to most hip-hop these days. And that extends to Bad Boy’s French Montana. I had a chance to meet the Canadian hip-hop act at an award show a  couple of years back. And, besides his incredibly soft hands that drew my attention, there wasn’t much I knew.

Well, that changed today when I got an email from the people over at “Life  & Times” on a new video interview I thought I’d put you all onto. The Jay-Z owned blog site gets familiar with relatively newcomer on why he chose to leave the streets and interview rap. You can check it out above.

While I understand the need to have a story to connect to your audience, there’s no way a man with soft hands as Frenchie could have EVER been a street dude. I refuse to believe it. But hey it’s a great way to build up ones brand. The underdog rising to the top..its as American as apple pie. Even for Canada.

The first time I heard Amber Sevyn Streeter, I was lost for words. Known as an in your face blogger you can imagine how few times this happens to me in life. Formerly a member of one of the hottest girl groups that never was, Sevyn is back on the scene ready to claim her throne for the mocha skinned ladies in the game. Nobody wants to address this issue, but the music industry tends to pay less attention to anything darker. In fact, in my opinion, the less “European” you look as a woman the less record companies find your marketability.

Think I’m lying? Just take a glance a today’s female acts. I can’t think of one outside of Kelly Rowland who the industry pays attention to and consumers report

However eager to get her foot in the door and dispel the aforementioned stereotypes, Sevyn –by way of Chris Brown– is about t get a second crack at the whip with a brand new record label on Atlantic. Her new single “I Like It” is an uptempo track offering up an empowering woman’s anthem on love and sticking it out in relationships.

Positive message, followed by a positive image how can one go wrong? Whether it’s a top 10 charter  is another blog for another day, but I will say that its a very safe promotional single that’ll keep the haters at bay. Plus you know much a sucker I am for power vocals.
