With the holidays rapid approaching, there’s a great organization coming together to help Atlanta adoptive parents unite for a good cause. Cobb County’s Adoptive Parents Association have come together to join the community in a healthy fundraiser.
Next Sunday, November 18th, the President of Cobb County Adoptive Parents Association, John Silvey, along with tons of great sponsors, is hosting the first annual 5K race. And I am encouraging all to get out and support the movement.
Lets keep it real, there’s a lot of children out there that come from trouble homes. And if it were not for good hearts of adoptive and foster parents, I assume those kids will grow up holding a knife to our throats trying to stick us for our paper.
Lets avoid that by digging into our wallets and hearts and support the movement.
The race is November 18th at 8am (runners will want to get there early) at the Town Center Mall in Kennesaw. Registration until November 16th is $20 and will be $25 on race day. Deets below.
