@DefJam is catching hell from virtually every angle these days. Just days after it was announced that Rihanna’s new album was being SEVERELY reduced to compete with the Lady Gaga’s and Susan Boyle’s of the world, I’m now hearing that fuckin’ around with @JustinBieber aka Usher’s young protege could land your ass in jail.
According to various reports Island Def Jam Records exec James Roppo was arrested last weekend, for the crime of NOT tweeting to assist police in crowd control.
Apparently, the exec has been charged with misdemeanors including endangering the welfare of children and obstructing governmental administration.
Reports say that police asked for the execs help in getting the crowd to go away by sending out a Twitter message, but refused resulting in him putting lives in danger and the public at risk.
A little far fetched indeed. Any good defense attorney worth their own salt should be able to get this crap thrown out. But why couldn’t it have been that damn @ScooterBraun [#imjustsayin]
