The rumor mill is running rampant this morning that Pensacola, FL rapper Plies aka Algernod Washington by federal authorities.
I received two calls this morning from patrons who tell me that right after the hip-hop hobbit performed at the holiday concert, the FED’s issued a swoop down as he was about to enter his tour bus.
Though there’s no word on charges filed, or that he’s even really been arrested, the “Becky” star was arrested in 2006 for illegal gun possession when witness claim that a shooting broke out at 238 West Nightclub in Gainesville, Florida., which resulted in the injury of 5 people with non-life threatening wounds.
Two members of his entourage were charged with attempted murder.
I got to say that I am surprised that Lanier aka Plies would get himself caught up in the, “thug life” like he has. I was under the impression that he was much smarter then that.
Calls placed to Plies record label have yet to be returned.
